Most chemical spillage incidents are the result of ignorance, apathy or neglect of basic procedure.

Training

The Emergency Spillage training is designed to ensure that your personnel – including vehicle drivers – are aware of how to prevent the likes of diesel, petrol, paints etc entering drains and water tables. 

 

The course explains the importance of using COSHH assessment s when “clearing up” and the correct way to dispose of contaminated clean up materials.

 

The course includes an emergency spillage exercise with class participation.

Aims of the Course

· How to isolate spillages

· How to contain spillages

· How to absorb the spillage

· How to clean up and dispose of contaminated materials

· To identify the colour coding of drains

Course concludes with a practical & written assessment. 

A Certificate is issued on successful completion of the course
